Nick names had been used among Asian students in New Zealand. Names like "windy", "iron horse", "longman", "small horse" and etc had been used and their full names were not known.
One day, a lady friend of my housemate borrowed his motorbike for personal business. On the way, she was stopped by a policeman and wanted to know the owner's name of the motorbike. She had a hard time to remember which name to use. "Is it 'windy' or 'longman' or ..... ?".
