About 14 years ago, an Asian student in Christchurch, New Zealand had an unlucky day with his motorbike. A dead engine. His friend lend him a helping hand by towing the motorbike using his car. However, on seeing a policeman they abandoned the motorbike and left in the car. The policeman stopped them and called the Police Head Office and confirmed that the motorbike was not reported lost. The policeman asked "It is O.K. to tow your motorbike. Why you abandoned your bike and ran?" "When we see a policeman, we are scared." came the answer.
