Methodist crest is a symbol which binds principal, teachers, staff and students,
past, present and future, together. Working together towards a mutual goal,

Background: Badge of Excellence
A yellow background with the letters MS proudly displayed. The calligraphic letters are the abbreviation of Methodist School. The Chinese words are pronounced 'wei li' which is the translation of 'Methodist'.
Yellow: Enlighten and illuminate
Methodist prides itself as an institution of education. Our students past, present and future, by their efforts and results, have made teachers and staff proud several times over.
The Torch: Burning Fire
Symbolises the fiery passion of our teachers, students and staff. Struggling against all odds, striving for the best, to try… and try… and try again… "to make the impossible, possible", such is the spirit of Methodist School.

The Hornbill: Sarawakian Heritage
Exquisitely crafted, the Hornbill signifies Sarawak. Sarawak, is a land of diverse culture, history and people; just like Methodist School. Over the years, Methodist has participated in competition after competition, in honour of school, town, state and country.
