The 50th Anniversary Celebration of SMB Methodist, Sibu was held on the 27th of February 1999 at a grand scale. The celebration which was officiated by the Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud was indeed a historical day for SMB Methodist.
